About

The current energy system contributes to many environmental problems, including global warming, the consequences of which have already been felt for several decades.

The world of tomorrow will no longer be able to afford the pollution that we still experience today. New strategies are needed for a transition to clean and renewable energies. The Democratic Republic of Congo is at the center of this energy transition, with its large reserve of natural resources necessary for the manufacture of various batteries.

The Congolese Battery Council is a public institution that was created for the purpose of setting up, promoting and managing a value chain for the minerals used in the manufacture of batteries.
